CASIS FKM Rubber is a high grade fully synthetic rubber sheet made from 100% FKM. It is specifically designed to display
resistance to a wide range of chemicals, oils, fuels, Lubricants and most mineral acids. FKM Rubber will also display very
good resistance to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. FKM Rubber will display resistance to compression set at a wide
range of temperatures and will also display good ozone resistance. FKM Rubber is suitable for use as expansion joints,
gaskets and a variety of sealing applications.

 
Features:
- Temperature range -15° to + 250°C.
- Good resistance to most chemicals and industrial fluids, will retain strength and withstand embrittlement during long-term heat exposure.
 
FKM rubber or Fluoroelastomer rubber or VITON® is based on hexafluoropropylene vinylidene fluoride.
 
• FKM rubber are serviceable in continuous heat of up to 250°C and intermittent heat of up to 300°C.
• Satisfactory resistance to low temperatures of typically -15°C and - 25°C by use of special grades.
• FKM rubber exhibit good flame resistance and are usually self-extinguishing upon removal of flame source.
• All FKM rubber have excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and natural weathering.
• FKM compounds have outstanding resistance to compression, especially at elevated temperatures.
• Resistance to chemicals; amongst all synthetic rubbers FKM's are the most resistant to many of the solvents and chemicals, giving long service where other materials do not. Excellent resistance against hydrocarbons, aliphatics, aromatic and chlorinated chemicals. Good resistance to acids and alkali's including oxidants. They do have poor performance against ethers, ketones, and bases.
