Viton material is a high performance synthetic rubber with exceptional properties, particularly when working with aggressive chemicals and fuels. FKM material is also known for having a very high temperature resistance.
In general, Ordinary commercial grade products are closer to daily life, just like FDA grade Viton for food industry and other related fields. This material exhibits a broad range of resistance to oils, fuels, lubricants and most mineral acids. It has very good resistance to many aliphatic hydrocarbon fluids that act as solvents for many other rubbers. Exceptionally good compression set attributes even at temperatures that can embrittle other non-fluorinated elastomers. It also exhibits good resistance to atmospheric oxidation, sun, and weather, and has excellent resistance to fungus and mold.
