Flame Retardant Viton Sheet
VITON SHEET GENERAL PROPERTIES
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE :
A broad range of resistance to oils, fuels, lubricants and most mineral acids. Very good resistance to many aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon fluids that act as solvents for many other rubbers.
COMPRESSION SET :
Exceptionally good resistance even at temperatures that can embrittle other non-fluorinated elastomers.
Excellent properties of sealing at continuous temperature of 204º C and intermitent points of 300º C.
ENVIRONMENT :
Good resistance to atmospheric oxidation, sun and weather. Excellent resistance to fungus and mould.
SEVERAL :
Selecting the type of Viton sheet that best fits your need is important. We have created the Gasket,Material Guide (see above) to help you to select the right Viton sheet for your individual sealing application.

RESTRICTIONS: Although Fluoroelastomers are an excellent gasket and sealing material and are resistant to many chemicals and oils, Fluoroelastomers are not recommended for applications that will be exposed to nitro hydrocarbons, low molecular weight esters (such as ethyl acetate), or ketones.
